Avan Cruiseliner (2026)
From TBA
Avan's hard-wall lift-top camper — 950 kg tare and a 1,250 kg ATM make it towable behind mid-size sedans, hybrids and small SUVs that couldn't legally move a conventional caravan. Seven floor plans share the same footprint: 4.4 m body, 1.72 m travel height (fits any garage), solid walls when popped with no canvas sides. 90 L three-way fridge, two-burner cooktop and 63 L water tank standard; solar, air conditioning and porta-potti are options. Avan doesn't publish RRPs — dealer stock listings put a 2025 Cruiseliner 5 Adventure Pack Plus at $50,990 drive-away, with base variants below that.
What we like
- ✓ 950 kg tare — towable behind vehicles that can't legally move a normal caravan
- ✓ 1.72 m travel height fits a standard garage — no storage-yard fees
- ✓ Hard walls all round when popped — no canvas to age or leak
- ✓ Seven floor plans on the same lightweight footprint
What we don't
- ✕ No shower or toilet on board — porta-potti is optional, ensuite doesn't exist
- ✕ 300 kg payload disappears fast once water, gas and gear are loaded
- ✕ Solar and air conditioning are extra-cost options, not standard
- ✕ Avan doesn't publish pricing — you're negotiating blind without dealer quotes
